About the Meeting

iwMDS is an annual workshop led by scientific leaders in MDS and MPNs, which will bring together top clinical and translational research minds to discuss the latest advances. 

In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, the aim is to identify key clinical and translational research priorities to help improve clinical care of myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms.

In keeping with the ethos of iwMDS, the emphasis of the workshop will be on short, high-level presentations, complemented by sessions of interactive debate and panel discussions. 

Workshop Objectives 

  • To create an annual opportunity for scientific exchange of ideas, knowledge, and research in myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms 
  • To enhance networking and inter-disciplinary collaborations internationally 
  • To create a platform for a united voice from the MDS and MPNs scientific/research community to provide focused input into the research priorities and future trial design
