We are excited to announce that the 2nd International Workshop on Myelodysplastic Syndromes (iwMDS) will take place in person in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on 7 – 9 July, 2023. In keeping with the ethos of iwMDS, the emphasis of the workshop will be on short, high-level presentations, sessions of interactive debate and panel discussions.

iwMDS is an annual workshop/think-tank bringing together leading international clinical and translational research minds in myelodysplastic syndromes in a face-to-face forum. Discussions around the current state-of-the-art in clinical care and research aim to set the agenda for clinical and translational research priorities for the future, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Objectives are:
- Create annual opportunity for scientific exchange of ideas, knowledge, and research in myelodysplastic syndromes
- Enhance networking and inter-disciplinary collaborations
- Create a platform for a united voice from scientific/research community to provide focused input into the research priorities
- Improve clinical trial design and conduct to be more efficient and inclusive through robust interactions with industry partners, regulators, and patient advocacy groups
